Kelton Rex Nunn

Our handsome, strong, sweet, loving, brave, incredible warrior, Kelton Rex, gained his angel wings, with his family by his side, on May 27th 2024, at the age of 5.

Kelton Rex Nunn was born on March 17, 2019 to parents Brittany & Kyle Nunn. He had many complications and struggles in his first few months of life. He was born premature & also born with HRHS (Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome). Our sweet boy spent the first 7 months of his life at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he had to undergo many different procedures during that time.

Finally at 7 months old, we were able to take our sweet boy home! Once we got him home and settled, we lived our very our very best lives together as a family during his short but amazing 5 years of life. Kelton was as active & crazy as his little body would let him be. He loved going for sxs rides, being at the race track, playing outside and spending time with his family, especially his big brother Jaxson & his big sister Tay. He was obsessed with his hot wheel cars, hot wheel tracks, his monster trucks, and just being a busy boy.

In September 2023, Kelton was listed for a heart transplant. His little heart worked so hard for those next 8 months. On May 16, 2024, Kelton received his beautiful miracle heart. His miracle heart allowed us, 11 more days with our sweet boy.

Through the loss of our boy, Kelton was able to give the gift of life to others. He now lives on through other people. We are so proud of him. It does bring us some comfort in the most trying time in our lives that we was able to help others.

Kelton was seen by almost every specialty clinic at Primary Children's. We will forever be thankful for his amazing caregivers & medical teams there. Throughout the last 5 years Primary Children's became Kelton's & his Mama's second home, and all of the staff that cared for him became our 2nd family.

Kelton is survived by his mother, Brittany Hamlett (Justin), father, Kyle Nunn (Becca), siblings, brother Jaxson, sister Taya, as well as his bonus siblings Jace & Brinkley, grandparents David & Karen Capron (Pop & Nani), uncle Jake Capron (Megan), and many more loving relatives.
Anyone who met Kelton, knew he lit up the world and everyone around him, with his beautiful smile, his infectious laugh, and the biggest, most warming & loving hugs that he gave.

Kelton's celebration of life will be held on June 29, 2024 at 12:00PM, at the Basque House, in Elko, Nevada.

Today & forever, spread your beautiful wings and fly, our Kelton Rex! We love you so much our sweet warrior boy!

Our family wishes to thank, Primary Children's Hospital medical teams that took amazing care of our boy these last 5 years! We appreciate everything they always did for Kelton & all of us.
