Ken was absolutely the best when it came to a father, friend, and co-worker.
He made my life very enjoyable and I will be eternally grateful.

Obituary
Kenneth Waldo Macey passed away on May 30, 2026, in his home in Lehi, Utah.
Ken was born in Logan to Walt and Mary Macey on August 26, 1944. He married Robin Ann Thurgood on August 27, 1965, in the Salt Lake Temple.
Ken will be remembered for his genuine love of people, his devotion to family, and his lifelong commitment to serving his community. Whether leading the family-owned Macey's supermarket business, supporting charitable causes, cheering on BYU, or spending time with family, he had a remarkable ability to make others feel valued and welcome. His kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and enthusiasm for life left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Ken is preceded in death by his wife, Robin, his parents, Walt & Mary Macey, and his two brothers, Randy & Martin. He is survived by his loving children, Darcie Peirce, Kerri Davis (David), Ryan Macey (Janelle), Brody Macey, Mandy Pugh (Jared), Chaney Snarr (Vince), his 16 grandchildren, his 8 great-grandchildren and his sisters Pam Gardiner (Barry) and Mary Duncan (Taylor).
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Larkin Sunset Gardens at 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy, Utah. Friends and family may call Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, also at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
Our family extends heartfelt gratitude to Ken's nurses and caregivers for their exceptional care, compassion, and kindness. Your support and tireless efforts brought comfort not only to him but to all of us, and we will be forever grateful.
