Kevin Corwell of Draper, Utah, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, surrounded by his wife & children. Born on August 27, 1958, Kevin lived a full and vibrant life defined by hard work, adventure, and deep love for his family.
A proud business owner, Kevin built and operated his own construction company, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and craftsmanship. Outside of work, he was happiest on the open road riding his Harley, cheering for the Raiders as a loyal season ticket holder, traveling to new destinations, enjoying live music at concerts and camping with his family.
Kevin loved his family fiercely and cherished the time spent with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Rikki Corwell, his daughters Lena, Laura, Anika (Jacob), Amanda (Billy), Arianna (Kole), Christine (Shadow), Lexie (Darien), and Devyn; and his grandchildren River, Charlotte, Weston, Alice, Kezlin, and a baby boy on the way. He also left behind his siblings Deborah, Shawna, Cory, Lisa, Rocky, Laura, Peggy and John.
Kevin is preceded in death by his parents, Lee Edward Corwell and Laura Katie Goddard.
Kevin will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He was truly one of a kind, the kind of man whose energy and laughter filled the room. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at The Chateau at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1910 E Dimple Dell Road (10600 S), Sandy, Utah. Family and friends are invited to come share stories, laughter, and memories in honor of Kevin's incredible life.
My deepest condolences to you and your family. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Kevin always made me laugh every time he stopped by the pharmacy. He will be greatly missed.
I’m hearing of Kevin’s passing only 10 minutes ago (12/9/2025). Being in the building code inspection industry, I was first introduced to Kevin nearly 28 years ago. He was spirited, broke the rules from time to time, but he was one of only a few footing and foundation contractors we knew should do thing right, and even better in some instances. I knew Kevin well and was honored to call him my friend, and knew he respected me and what I was charged to do as a code official. The entire building industry lost one of the good ones. Prayers to his entire family at this time.
