Delores Petersen, age78, passed away September 9, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born June 16, 1936 in Salt Lake City to Seymore and LaVon Smith Droubay. She married Danny H. Petersen in Salt Lake City.
Delores worked 38 years for California State Corrections. She loved her children and grandchildren very much and treasured her relationships with her extended family as well.
She is survived by: her husband, Danny H. Petersen; her children, Scott (Linda) Woznick and Tonia (David) Lewis; her grandchildren, Jacob, Nick and Raquel Lewis , Steven Coale and Deanna Skaggs; great grandchildren, Melanie, Samantha, David and Ali; three brothers, Michael, Randy and Kent; and one sister, Bonnie.
Preceded in death by her parents and former husband John Woznick.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple in Salt Lake City, on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 11:30-12:30 prior to services
