Kia Lam, born December 20, 1927, was called home to heaven on June 1, 2023, at the age of 95.
From the beginning, he sacrificed his life in Vietnam to give his family better opportunities in the U.S. by being sponsored by Ralph and Reva Bishop in March of 1980. He was an independent, hardworking, selfless, and dedicated man. Most importantly, he was a humble/patient man who would never complain.
He is survived by his wife, Ngoc Huynh of 70 years and together had nine children, Kien (Johnny), Hoah (Linh), Melissa (Michael), Vo (Mai), Dieu (Ha), Dat (Karen), Huong (Son), and San. Along with 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His pride and joy was his family.
