Kristin Louise Wayman

Kristin Louise Wayman, 46, passed away April 29, 2025, in Salt Lake City, UT. Kristin was born on November 5, 1978, in Schenectady, NY to Dora J. Knickerbocker and Richard M. Nason. She was raised by Dora and her step-father, Craig A. Hauke, and was the oldest of two children.

Kristin had a strong work ethic and helped manage several large apartment complexes over the years.This is how she met her future husband.In 2002, she married Winford E. Wayman and they had three beautiful sons. She had a big heart and was always on the lookout to help any friend or family member in need. Kristin enjoyed the simple things in life like reading, board games, camping, and her family.

She is survived by her husband, Winford; sons, Garrett and Paul; mother, Dora; step-father, Craig; and sister, Amber (Jesse). She is preceded in death by her father, Richard, and son, Carson.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Larkin Mortuary located at 260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84111. There will be a viewing from 10:30 am to 11:45 am prior to the service.Interment will follow at Elysian Burial Gardens located at 1075 E. 4580 S., Millcreek, UT 84117.
