Our Aunt, Marilyn Simpson was called home on November 8th, 2017 at the age of 88.
She was born June 17th, 1929 in Hunter, Utah to Lewis and Bertha Yonker. She married Lawrence Simpson on December 3rd, 1948. He died on July 9th, 1992.
She spent most of her life in Magna, Utah where she worked at Standard Market for many years.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Kathy Jackson for opening up her home to Marilyn for the last two years and taking such wonderful care of her and treating her as a family member. Also to Horizon Hospice and especially Katrina Dawes for the special care she gave her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larry; mother Bertha; father Lewis; and brother Bill Yonker.
A memorial service in honor will be held on Tuesday, November 14th from 11:00 to 12:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1950 East, Sandy, with a viewing from 10:00 to 10:45 AM. Interment immediately following services.
