Becky Lewis

1943 ~ 2016

Becky Lewis passed away at the age of 72 on May 8, 2016, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on November 27, 1943, in Luling, Texas to Margaret Mathiott. She married Bob Lewis in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 5, 1990, who thereafter remained her constant loving companion. Becky\s life purpose was healing others\ spirits and bodies, working as a registered nurse for 43 years. She enjoyed walking her dogs and greeting other dogs and their owners in City Creek Canyon. Becky also loved the Salt Lake knitting community and was an avid knitter. She found great pleasure gardening with her husband, children, and grand-children and sharing the bounty of her garden with everyone. Becky and Bob spent 30 years stargazing, often at remote sights. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, trying out new recipes and baking. As a Nana she\ll be remembered for greeting her grandchildren with bowls of fruit, giving head rubs, and sliding across the kitchen floor in socks. Becky lives on in all of us through the positive changes she brought about in everyone.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Bob Lewis, her children Michael Foulger (Michelle), Melissa Foulger, Meredith Krannich (Jess), Sarah Gedulin (George), and the light of her life, her grandchildren, James, Dylan, Morgan, Lauren, and the soon to arrive Baby Gedulin. She also leaves behind her two shelties, Scout and Sunny.

A celebration of Becky\s life will be held Monday, May 16, 2016 from 6:00-9:00pm at Red Butte Garden, 300 Wakara Way, in Salt Lake City.
