Arlene Deans Davis, 79, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.
Born December 9, 1937 to Leslie Henry and Laurel (Gibson) Deans. She married Edward Joseph Davis on February 21, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Mom was a very selfless and giving person.She was known for making Raggedy Ann dolls, sock monkeys and blankets for her family, friends, and donated hundreds of her blankets to the Road Home.
She is survived by her eight children Joey (Tina), Kaylene, Greg, Darwin (Wendy), Shirleen, Cathleen (Jeff), Brian, Colleen (Richard); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchild; her brothers Boyd (JoAnn) Deans; Steve (Judy) Deans; and sister Kristine (Steve) Adams. Preceded in death by her husband, Ed; great-grandson, Jesse Fetzer; parents; brother, Larry; sister, Linda.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sandy Crescent 7th Ward Chapel located at 949 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT where viewing will precede the funeral from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 also at the Sandy Crescent 7th Ward Chapel.
