Laauli Lemanua Teofilo, 72, passed away on March 30th, 2024. He was surrounded by his loved ones after a valiant battle with MDS cancer.

Laauli was born on February 24, 1952, to Filimino Lemanua Teofilo and Faalologo Sapau in Leone, American Samoa.

In 1987, he met Iupita Maiava Teofilo, and they married in 1988, going on for 35 years with their four children, Cecillia, John, Kristina, and Joe.

As we remember Laauli, it is his refreshing sense of humor, contagious good energy, and ability to bring laughter to those around him that will be missed most by those who had the honor of meeting and knowing him.

Laauli is survived by his wife Iupita; his four children and their spouses, Cecillia (Roy), John (Taitiana), Kristina (Jaime), and Joe; as well as his grandchildren Roche, Joshua, and Zealand.”

A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 12:00-2:00 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E. 10600 S. Sandy, Utah), immediately followed by a funeral service at the same location.

RIP/RIL Brother. Praying you are at peace. May God’s peace & comfort be with Pita and the children. Wished we could have spent more time together, but you are probably living it up with Mom & Dad, Pale & Ana and other family members. See you soon.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind- and he obeyed.
Two shall become one flesh'; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate- and he obeyed
Be fruitful and multiply, increase greatly on the earth and multiply in it- and he obeyed
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind- and he obeyed
I celebrate your daddy. A life well lived. May your love for one another grow deeper, wider, and stronger because of the love he showed you. May you rely on the peace that only God gives. Love, The Mora family

“Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted”. Matthew 5:4

To my sister, Iupita & my nieces and nephews, may God give you strength during this time and may you continue to draw near to him & lean on his comfort and care. We wish we could be there to celebrate the life of Laauli, but we are there in spirit.

Laauli was a humble man with an outgoing personality. He could make me laugh with his funny jokes & would always remind us that we are family. May you rest in peace Laauli, you maybe gone but you are not forgotten.
