1967 ~ 2025
Our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend, Lariann Wanda Lockwood, passed away on November 6, 2025, in Sandy, Utah, at the age of 58.
Lari was born on July 31, 1967, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Keith L. Lockwood and Wanda Ruth Forbush Lockwood. Her big brother, Mike, was overjoyed to welcome a beautiful little sister into the family.
Lari had many talents and passions. She enjoyed cooking, playing the piano, and writing poetry. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A 1985 graduate of Hillcrest High School, Lari went on to work in several fulfilling positions, including office manager at The Dental Lab and Paulus Hair Restoration, and as an administrative assistant at Cline Auto. Later, she found great purpose working for the Ryan White Foundation in administration for the state health department. She also had fun working as an extra on the television series Touched by an Angel.
Lari’s greatest and most meaningful role was that of a caregiver to her loving mother. When her mother could no longer care for herself, Lari devoted her time and heart to showing her compassion, gentleness, and pure love.
Lari is preceded in death by her beloved parents. She is survived by her brother Michael, niece Amy Lou Smith (Jamison), nephews Dominic, Kaden, and Jericko, niece Kyra, her Aunt Marian, Aunt Marva, many cousins, and dear friends who loved her deeply.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services beginning at 10:00 a.m.
