Leslie Boyd Brewer, age 78, passed away peacefully in his sleep, January 31, 2022. He was born February 26, 1943 to John and Theresa Brewer in Mt. Pleasant , Utah.

Dad married our Mom, Sharon Hardman, November 16, 1961. Together they raised their three daughters, Sheri, Kris and Melanie in Millcreek, Utah.

Boyd was an avid fisherman, and kept his pole in the trunk, just in case. He also enjoyed hunting in Mt. Pleasant, where he spent his childhood. He loved bowling and spent many years on different leagues, missing that perfect 300 score by one pin. Golfing was another favorite hobby. After retiring from his tire business, B&R Tire, he worked as a golf Marshal and bartender at the Salt Lake Country Club.

He loved spending time at his daughter's home in Kauai, making lifelong friends there also.

Boyd made many friends everywhere he went. He taught his daughters to work hard, be honest and always have a spirit of adventure.

He was everyone's biggest cheerleader and supporter. He was fiercely proud of each and every member of his family.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sharon, daughters, Sheri (Carey) Middleton, Kris (Mike) Straub, and Melanie (Marvin) Cameron. Grandchildren, Carissa (Rob), Wesley (Summer), Lindsey, Colby (Annie), Kassidy (Garett), Caitlin (Drew), Wade (Jess), Wilson (Whitney), Alessia (Gavin) and Casey. Great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Hailie, Callie, Beau, Cambree, Brody, McKinley, Lilly, Ember, Adelaide, Braylee, Charlotte and Blakelynn.

Also survived by his brothers, Gary and Randy, sisters, Karen, Teri and Sue.

Preceded in death by his parents, and special nephew, Ryan.

"Glad you got to see me today"
"I bet you can't wait for tomorrow? Why, because you get more beautiful everyday"

Graveside services will be held Monday February 7, 2022 at 1:00 pm. at the Mt Pleasant Cemetery, 115 W Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Utah.

BOYD'S PROWESS AS HUNTER AND FISHERMAN CAN NEVER BE OVERSTATED. AT ONE TIME THE DESERET NEWS WILDLIFE EDITOR BILL EWER WROTE AN ARTICLE ABOUT JERRY ZABRISKIE BEING UTAH'S BEST FISHERMAN . HAVING FISHED WITH BOTH BOTH BOYD AND JERRY MANY TIMES AND BOYD ALWAYS CAUGHT THE MOST FISH. SO I ASKED JERRY IF HE WAS UTAH'S BEST FISHERMAN WHY DOES BOYD ALWAYS CATCH THE MOST FISH AND HE LAUGHED AND SAID BECAUSE BILL EWER HAD NEVER GONE FISHING WITH BOYD.

"Uncle" Boyd, you were the best!!!! I am sure that you and my dad are causing a ruckus wherever your spirits are right now. You were his best friend, his favorite hunting, fishing and camping buddy, and I know he wishes he would have done more of that with you.
You loved your wife and daughters in a way that everyone could see, they are amazing women and I think a lot of that is because of the person you were.
I want to thank you for the memories that I have of all of those adventures with you and your family and mine. You will be missed by so many for so many reasons that one alone cannot list them all. I Love you Uncle Boyd, CHEERS to you and may your soul be felt by all those you have left behind. Robbin

I am so sorry for the loss of your dad, Sheri, Kris, and Melanie. I never got to know him well. But, I always thought he was so cute. I remember being at your home a couple times, and even walking by your home, and seeing your dad outside practicing with his bow. I always thought that was the coolest thing ever. I’m sure he used that bow for hunting. That’s a good memory I have of him. He was always so nice to me.
I know you will always miss him. Memories are what you hang onto. Hold them close to your heart and you’ll feel your dad’s presence.
Much Love
