Leslie Maria Mikesell

Leslie Maria Mikesell, age 60, passed away on May 2, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born on August 31, 1964, in the same city she called home throughout her life, Leslie’s journey was one of deep family ties and enduring love.

Leslie was a beloved Mother, partner, Grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her devoted partner, Blaine; her three sons: Joshua Fritch (Jackie), Justin Glover (Kayla), and Jeremy Mikesell; and her cherished Grandchildren: Salena, Jadon, Katherine, Jeremiah, Makya, Jordan, Kamden, Tiger, Armani, Gracie, and Zoey.

Leslie’s life was shaped by the strength of her family roots. She was preceded in death by her Mother Maria Schwartz; Father Robert Mikesell; Brother Robert “Skeeter” Mikesell; and Grandmother Roberta Mikesell. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Leslie found joy in a wide array of hobbies that reflected her creativity and adventurous spirit. She had a deep love for arts and crafts, often spending time making intricate beadwork and jewelry. Collecting was another passion—especially items that are rare and also miniature items. Her favorite color was green, a hue that seemed to echo her vibrant personality.

Gambling and camping were also among Leslie’s favorite pastimes, offering both excitement and moments of peace in nature. Whether crafting something beautiful by hand or enjoying the thrill of a game, Leslie embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity.

A woman of resilience and warmth, Leslie’s legacy lives on through the generations she helped raise and inspire. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
