Lila LeBaron passed away peacefully March 15, 2024, in Sandy at age 73. She was born October 17, 1950 to Benjamin Teasdale and Grace Ogden LeBaron in Chihuahua, Mexico. She spent most of her childhood in Lake Shore, Utah and graduated from Spanish Fork High School.

As a USU graduate she moved to California to further develop her writing talent which was coupled with an amazing memory. She worked as a writer and realtor. She also enjoyed sewing and organizing items to donate to charities.

Lila was a lifelong faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she enjoyed ministering through making and sending cards, building family trees, and sharing her strong testimony of Joseph Smith. Lila lovingly used her writing abilities to honor others.

She was known as Aunt Lila to more than her own nieces and nephews who were never forgotten on birthdays and holidays. Her kind words and thoughtful acts blessed the lives of many.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Benjamin Dayer LeBaron. She is survived by her siblings, Jennie (Steve) Gibson, Linda (Miguel) Calderon, Julia (Richard) Jacob, Fern (Lawrence) Atwood, and Jonathan (Sharon) LeBaron.

We will gather in her honor for services Saturday, March 23, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse located at 235 East 9800 South, Sandy UT, 84070. The viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, followed by services from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and graveside services at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery at 2:30 PM

So sorry to hear about Lila. We love the whole LeBaron Family and were so happy to be able to share many experiences with the family at the cabin for many years. Grace was such a kind person and passed that kindness on to her children. The funeral service was wonderful to watch on Zoom. Thank you for that opportunity.

Aunt Lila, Taught me about finances and always had great advice. She was smart as a whip. She attended high school with my uncle Eric Bylund in Spanish fork. My family used to buy milk from her family in Richfield. I started renting from her four years ago. I’ll miss her and are talks.

Truly, your family is one of the best I’ve ever known. Hearing how unselfish and kind Lila was helps me to know that her brother and all her sisters were the same.
I’m so sorry that Lila had such trouble healthwise throughout her life. Right now. I am very grateful she is With other members of her family and so many friends. I think of how much joy came to her as she reunited with Benjie and her parents I appreciate the beautiful sentiments about Lila, and I would like to see changes in my life that Lila‘s life inspires. I visited with her several times and know that she was absolutely committed to the gospel and her family . May the peace of Christ visit all of you as you continue to be the amazing strong people that you are. I love you, Linda, Jennie, Julie, Fern, and John.
