Linda Coffman

1945 ~ 2022

Obituary Photo for Linda Coffman < >

Linda was born in 1945 in Burley, Idaho. Her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona after the passing of her mother. Linda had an engaging personality and a keen sense of humor. She was always cracking jokes and enjoyed being with other people.

Family was very important to Linda and whenever any of her nephews visited with her, she would always quiz them about each family member to get an update. She loved her nephews, Rick, Rob and Ryan and treated them like her own sons.

Linda excelled in her career that was primarily in the insurance industry. She was in several senior positions during her career and for a few years was based in the Clearwater, Florida area and enjoyed that very much

Linda finally made the jump much later in her life to leave Arizona and follow her two sisters (Marilyn and Kathy) to Utah. While she enjoyed living with them while they were all together in Utah, she was deeply saddened by both of their deaths and spoke often of them and looking forward to being with them again.

Linda was loved and cared for by her nephews and their spouses and children and her favorite times of the year were family gatherings when she could see everyone together. She would take the time to try and sit with each family member and ask them questions about their life and how they were doing. She cared very much about others and was always interested in what they were doing.

During the pandemic lockdown, Linda took advantage of the time and poured herself into the scriptures and other church readings. She commented that after all of her reading during the pandemic that she came to the conclusion that the gospel was about repentance and loving others. Linda was a great example of loving others and will be missed by her family and friends.

I am sad to hear you are gone, but I know you have peace. You have been missed by your Arizona family for quite some time now, but I will never forget you. You are a one of a kind soul. You made me a better person. I love you dear friend.
