Linda Hinerman, 93, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born October 16, 1927 to Charles Lee and Lydia Emelina Ivie Lee in Tabiona, Utah. She was the youngest of seven children. After the passing of both of Linda’s parents, at the age of 5, she was raised by her older sister, Ida Bond, in Heber City, Utah. After moving to Salt Lake City, Linda worked for J I Case Company and General Motors. She married Donald Hinerman in 1945. Together they had four children. Later divorced.
She met and married the love of her life, Dan Bolinder in 1972. Linda and Dan enjoyed their blended family and adventures until Dan was killed in an airplane crash in 1978. Linda and Don later remarried in February 1981; Don died in 2009. Linda and Don were married for a total of 51 years.

Linda was an avid Jazz fan and helped lead the Jazz to 27 wins in the 20-21 season by watching them religiously and cheering them on. Thank you to Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and the Jazz for creating such positive energy. She could cook like no other and crocheted beautifully. Linda loved to play cards and was an avid reader. She had a passion for family and enjoyed family barbeques and all holidays. She enjoyed camping with her daughter Pat and son in law Barry. Her family was her life. Linda was very close to her nieces, Jane, Betty, Lynda, and Carolynn.

Linda is survived by three children: Pat (Barry) Blumhagen, Craig (Connie) Hinerman, Lance (JoLynn) Hinerman, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and three stepsons; Gene, Dave, and Kenny Bolinder and their families.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, son Randy Hinerman, stepson Bob Bolinder, three brothers, three sisters, and granddaughter Heather Gagnard.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 5, 2021 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery (1950 East 10600 South in Sandy, Utah) at 2 p.m. with a viewing from 12-1:30 p.m. inside the mortuary.

    Guestbook/Condolences

Dear Family of wonderful Linda. I know how you miss her. In fact, we have all missed her for a year now because of COVID. She was a lady in every way. I am eternally thankful that she has been in my life for the last 20+ years as a dear friend and precious mentor. I pray that what I believe is true and she is happily in Heaven with Randy and all the family she loved so very much. She hated being sick and bed bound so that is the way I see her--smiling, walking and sitting with no pain, looking beautiful, and surrounded by the many she loved and helped along her way in life. She was a precious, precious person.
I love you forever, Linda. Always your friend, Judy Chatwin

Just want to let you all know how much I loved Aunt Linda. She was a very special part of my life growing up and in our later years. I loved going to lunch with her and Jane. I know there is a reunion going on right now with her and all her loved ones who have gone on. Mom loved her like a sister. I have so many fond memories of our family gatherings. Love to you all.
