Linda May Thomas was born on February 11, 1947, in Franklin County, in Pasco, Washington. She had two sisters and two brothers, Marie Brito, Shirley Alger, and Roy Carter. They live in the state of Washington. Her second brother David is deceased.
Linda enjoyed playing a cello and singing in school choirs in elementary, junior high and high school. She loved sunsets, butterflies, rainbows, dogs and temple work.
She graduated December 1973 at Eastern Washington State College in Cheney Washington with a BA degree in social work and a minor in psychology and sociology. She was employed for several years as a case manager in foster care and day care.
She was married to Earl Delwyn Thomas on September 12, 1980 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were civilly divorced in June of 1993. She had two sons, Richard Keon Thomas and Michael Bradley Thomas. She also enjoyed her two grandsons, Austin and Chase.
We knew Linda in our ward for many years. She was a sweet lady and loved her family. It was difficult to see her health failing and the struggles she went through. But gratefully we know she is in a much better place. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
