Edna Price Millecan, passed away on November 20, 2015 in Pinole, California of natural causes. She is preceded in death by her father Edward S. Price, mother Hazel Hansen Price and sisters Cleo Mollinet and Mynne Price. She is survived by son David Millecan (Sukhyun), granddaughters Megan McKissick (Justin) and Constance Millecan, great grandsons JD and Danny McKissick, niece Susan Riding and nephews Michael Wheelock, and John Mollinet. She was born in Paradise, Utah on March 31, 1926. Her early years were spent in Laie, Hawaii, Hyrum, Brigham City and Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from South High School in Salt Lake City in 1944. She graduated from the University of Utah in 1953 after a five year pause working as a stewardess for United Airlines. She received a Master's Degree in Social Work from UC Berkeley in 1955 and married Daniel A. Millecan in 1956. She had a long career working as a Social Worker at the San Francisco VA hospital and enjoyed being a grandmother in her retirement.
A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 10:00a.m. ‚ 11:00a.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. Graveside services will be held immediately following at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.
