Lola Anne Rowley (Barlow)

1941 ~ 2023

Listen to Previously Recorded Service

Lola Anne Rowley (Barlow) passed away early in the morning March 4, 2023, at 81 years old. Lola was born October 9, 1941, to Richard and Lola Rowley in San Fernando California. She was married in the Salt Lake Temple to Neldon Jay Barlow in 1964.

Lola was very active in her church and served in various important callings. She worked as an elementary school teacher and wedding coordinator at a reception center.

Lola had polio as a child which led to many health issues later in life, but she didn't let it stop her from hosting parties, doing crafts and floral arrangements. She loved to travel with her husband and spend time with family and friends.

Lola always had a sunny disposition and a positive attitude and never said an unkind word.

Lola always served her family, friends and church gladly with a smile. She earned her angel wings on earth living a Christ like life. She is a great example to her friends and family and will be sorely missed.

Lola is survived by her six sisters and one brother, her four children, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the LDS meeting house at 13112 S. 700 E. Draper, UT. 84020 on Thursday, March 9 at 11:00 am. The viewing will begin at 10am. Lola will be laid to rest in the Bluffdale City Cemetery.

For those unable to attend the service in person, the family invites you to join via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86061409705. A free Zoom account is required and you will need to sign in to join the service.

Barlow Family: I was sorry to hear about the passing of Lola. I was blessed to know her for many years here in Bluffdale 1st Ward. She was always cheerful and kind and made everyone feel loved. I was able to visit with her a few minutes at another funeral here in Bluffdale a year or so ago. We missed your family when you moved.
May wonderful memories sustain you, and may you find comfort in knowing such a special person as Lola can never be forgotten and will be greatly missed!
