Carol Poulton Reynolds

1924 ~ 2017

After fighting the aftermath of polio for many years, I was released from this life on December 4, 2017.

I was born to a wonderful, loving family. My parents were Avern R. Poulton and Sadie Hauerbach. I had two sisters, Lois (Cliff) Juhlin, Helen (Rob) Evans, and a bother Richard (Mildred) Poulton.

I married my love and best friend, Leo, on February 13, 1943. He died much too soon thirty-two years ago. I've missed him terribly.

My best accomplishments are son Scott (Loretta) who has done so much for me, daughter Pamela, a wonderful companion and has assisted me for over thirty years. Also, three grandchildren Nichole (Brian) McCollough, Corin Britton and Brian (Megan) Reynolds.

I lived long enough to enjoy four great-grandchildren. Grayce and Abigail McCollough and Kelsie and Carter Reynolds.

I would like to thank Pamela, Inspiration Hospice, and Home Instead for the help to enable me to stay in my home. It has been a fun ride, but hopefully there are better times ahead.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite animal charity.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 11, 2017 at Larkin Mortuary (260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah) at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 9:45-10:45 a.m.
