  • It is with heavy hearts we mourn the loss of a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend. Lynette passed away in the arms of her loving husband, Lonnie, from a tragic hunting accident that occurred on January 31st, 2022.

Lynette was born April 29th, 1963, to her parents Jack Wayne Fagg and Carmen B. Fagg. She grew up in Draper, Utah, and was a bright spirited girl. She was always playing in the creek and canal close to her home with her best friend and sister, Brenda. In the summer of 1979, she met the love of her life, Lonnie Billeter. From that time on they were inseparable! The two were married on May 23rd, 1980. They both graduated in the class of 1981 from Alta High School. They started their life journey overcoming many challenges in their 42 years together.

She gave life to three beautiful children, Kimberly Lynn, Ashley Ann, and Eric Wayne. She was a kind, caring, and loving mother that raised them in the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because of her strong love for the Gospel. With the girls old enough and Eric in middle school, she began a career as a paraeducator in the Canyons School District. She touched the lives of many at Mount Jordan Middle, Albian Middle, Eastmont Middle, Jordan High, and recently went to Canyons Transition Academy. She loved her students and coworkers. They went on Daily outings to many stores, warehouses, malls, and the Airport. They traveled to these locations by Public Transportation to help the students transition into all the daily functions for everyday life.

Lynette was a very creative person with many many talents, which she used to bless so many lives. She was a very accomplished t-shirt maker, creating many different designs, which brought joyous smiles to many people. She was also a gifted scrapbooker and crafter that loved seeing her creations bring happiness and smiles to those that received them.

Lynette is leaving behind her mother, father, sisters: Cynthia Gardner, Brenda Welch, Sundee Palmer, as well as their spouses and children, her three children, Grandchildren: MacKaylee, Diezel, Colton, Aspen, Catalina, and her loving husband. She was preceded in death by her Grandmother May Fagg and Grandfather John Fagg, Grandmother Eveline Balls and Grandfather Owen Balls, and niece Amber Lee Welch.
She will be Deeply and Truly missed by everyone that knew her. She has one request, for everyone to hug and kiss their loved ones every morning or any chance you get because you never know what may happen tomorrow.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 12:00 pm at the Crescent Stake Center, 10600 South 275 East in Sandy, Utah. Viewings will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022, from the hours of 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road, Sandy, Utah, and Tuesday from 1030 – 1130 am at the church. Interment to follow at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery, 3115 Bengal Blvd., Cottonwood Heights, Utah.

Lynette was such a bundle of energy, positive, kind, thoughtful....... She always talked of her family, her love and concern for them, her desire that they were happy and well cared for. She delighted in her children's success and felt the weight of pain and worry if they were having a hard time. She loved and delighted in her grandchildren. She loved doing crafty things with them and for them. She was soooo artsy always showing me the latest creation and project. She was so proud of her husband and his dutch oven cooking after hunts and his strength to work the hours that he worked. She loved the garden boxes he made for her. She loved going on the hunts. She showed me the cougar she shot a year or so ago, very proud. Great things come in tiny packages and she was one of those tiny packages filled with enthusiasm, love, compassion, work ethic, always seeking to learn and grow. I am really grateful that I got to know her, she shared a lot of her learning and interests with me over the years. After our visits i'd think man how does she do all that she does. My thoughts and prayers are with you Lonni and your children and grand children. I am so so sorry that you are having to live without her, she leaves a big hole. I do know that time heals all wounds and the Lord is able to give comfort to the broken hearted, to carry the burdens that we can not carry. Take care love Brenda

My heart is with Lynette's family. Wives, mothers, and grandmothers are such important people in our lives. I'm glad you know that she has gone ahead to a place of peace and pure joy and that she is waiting for you to join her when your purpose on earth is complete.
I worked in SPED at Jordan while Lynette was there. I remember delicious cupcakes she generously made for birthdays and special occasions. She was always color coordinated in cute outfits, right down to the beaded lanyards for her badge. She was always kind to me. I would sometimes see her at the store with grandchildren she was tending and I know how much she loved her family.
May that love stay with you and comfort you.
    With love, Kristina
