Our beloved Sister, Aunt and friend Margaret (Maggie) Franchow left us on October 11th after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Buffalo, New York to Christopher and Sarah Rorison Franchow. The family moved to Salt Lake City in 1950.
Maggie graduated from Granite high school in 1956. She worked for the State of Utah for many years and retired in 2003. She was a beautiful, stylish woman with a sparkling personality and a quick wit. Maggie had a great love for animals. She had many pets over the years and contributed to animal rights organizations. She was a warm, loving person always willing to help anyone in need. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her Sister and life long companion Ivy Franchow (Salt Lake City), Brothers John Franchow (Sandy) and Adam Franchow (Bountiful). Preceded in death by her Parents and Brothers Christopher and James. A viewing for family and friends will be heldFriday, October 20that Larkin Mortuary,260 E.
