Our beloved Jodi was called Home after a valiant battle with cancer on December 2, 2018. Jodi was born November 21, 1971 in Murray, Utah, to Eldon Shirley and Janet Moore Kearl. Jodi is kind and loving. She has many cherished friends and is grateful for their friendship. Jodi has an Associates Degree from Snow College. She enjoyed her schooling and made dear friends while she was there. She went on to work at Morris Air where she met and married her sweetheart, Naaman. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on June 3, 1993.
Jodi's hobbies include crafts. She enjoyed sewing and making blankets. She is also a wonderful homemaker and business partner.
Jodi has served in many callings. She enjoyed serving as the Relief Society President, in the Young Women Presidency, as the Primary President, and as Activity Days Leader. Her hope was that she could encourage the Sisters, Young Women, and Primary Children to follow the Savior.
Jodi deeply loves her children. She has always been concerned with their happiness and wellbeing.
The family is grateful to all the doctors and nurses that cared for her.
Jodi is survived by her husband, Naaman, and children: Caleb, Aspen, Malori, Ella, and Gilbert; her parents, Eldon and Jan Kearl; and siblings: Holly (Vaughn) Spendlove, Rich (Amy) Kearl, Marci (Tyler) Warner.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 8 at 11:00 am at the LDS Chapel at 12353 S 600 E. There will be a viewing on Friday, December 7 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and also on Saturday, December 8 from 9:30-10:30 am at the same location.
