Colleen Thomas Pearson

1927 ~ 2013

On Tuesday; December 3, 2013, our loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and beloved friend, returned home to her Heavenly Father. She was lovingly reunited with her parents, many siblings, her son and several grandchildren.

Colleen was born September 30, 1927 in Kenilworth, Utah, to William Reese Thomas and Millissa (Wilson) Thomas. Colleen was sealed in the LDS temple, to her best friend and the love of her life, Irvin Alan Pearson, February 3, 1964.

Colleen and Alan were very blessed with a large blended family. Colleen was blessed with the calling of being a mother to many. She was a mother, step-mother and foster mother to 14 children. She was a Grandmother to 43, Great-Grandmother to 37 and Great-Great Grandmother to 13. Colleen is 1 of 12 children and survived by her sisters, Norma Walters and Jane Warner.

Colleen loved her family and enjoyed doing Genealogy. She would spend many hours sharing photos and her vast knowledge of her families history, with her family and friends. Colleen also enjoyed spending time in the Lord\s house doing his temple work with her eternal companion and ful-filling the many callings that were asked of her. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to see the beauty around her and to enjoy the company of her family and friends. She cherished her many years of work with the Boy Scouts. She helped to teach many young men, the values and responsibility that comes with the scouting program.

Our Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister will always be remembered for her stories, her strength, her courage, fun loving nature and for her beautiful smile.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the L.D.S. Chapel located at 12210 South 2700 West Riverton, Utah. Guests may come and visit with the family and share memories, one hour prior to services. Interment will be at a later date at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
