Beth was born on June 11, 1930 in Malad City, Idaho. She had an older brother and sister tohelp welcome her and later would welcome a younger brother. Her parents were NorvalWilliam Moss and Isabel Davis Moss. At age ten, she moved to Salt Lake City after living on afarm in southern Idaho, the farming community of Malad and the mining community of Ely, Nevada. Salt Lake City was her home for many years.
On August 14, 1954, she married Douglas Grant Boyle. They lived in Dugway, Utah for several years. They spent some years in Salt Lake City and spent a few years in Flanders, New Jersey. They were the parents of four children.
She was witty and funny. She had many friends. People liked to be with her. Beth was a sincere, loving, caring person and her family was her center. Her intelligence was reflected in her veracious reading. For many years, she enjoyed playing the game of bridge with the same group of old friends. She loved to travel. She journeyed through her life taking journeys. A trip wasn\t from point \"A\" to point \"B\" because she took side trips along the way. Taking a cruise was always special. She has experienced her last journey. She has arrived at her last port-of-call where happy, loving people were waiting to greet her. She was a member of the LDS Church. The last thirty-four of her life were spent in Salt Lake City.
Her husband died on April 10, 2002. She is survived by her four children, Ashby DouglasBoyle II (Heidi), Louise Boyle,Bradford G. Boyle (Gia), William M. Boyle and five much loved grandchildren, Rachel Beth, David Douglas, Christopher, Mary, and Anna. Both of herbrothers, Bill and Sam and her sister, Glenna Hayes, also, survive her. She was much loved byher nieces and nephews that had fun with their Aunt Beth.
As per her final wishes, there will be no viewing or memorial service. A graveside servicewill be held Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Salt Lake City Cemetery (Northeast corner just below 11th Ave.). Online condolences: www.larkincares.com
