William Mario Vanden Boomen, 62, of Sandy, UT passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2018 in Sandy, UT. William was born April 25th, 1956, in London, Ontario, Canada. William was a devoted husband, loving father, the world's greatest grandfather, and adored by all who knew him. William was dedicated to serving others, especially his family, friends, and employees. William was an entrepreneur who founded Bath Fitter Utah and Idaho, TheHomeMag Minnesota, and had several Real Estate endeavors.
He is survived by his cherished wife of thirty-eight years, Marlene Vanden Boomen; children, Jeffrey and Amanda Vanden Boomen, Richard and Kayla Vanden Boomen, and Rachelle Vanden Boomen; grandchildren Jack and Ava Vanden Boomen (Jeffrey and Amanda); along with his loving siblings, father-in-law, nieces and nephews, and extended family. He proceded in death by Martin and Petronella Vanden Boomen, mother-in-law Marion Riet Rimmelzwaan.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 8th at 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. Friends may call upon the family at a viewing on Tuesday, August 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy. Graveside committal to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
Dear Booman family:
I only learned yesterday of Bill's passing and was stunned. I've never met any of you, but after years of watching commercials of Bill and Rick, I almost felt I knew them. I finally googled Bill to see if he had sold out to Rick and Kayla or what. I apologize that it took me that long.
Please know how truly, truly sorry I am for all of you. I've sent up prayers for Bill and for each one of you. While I know firsthand how terribly we miss them, perhaps if you pick out a star, and Bill will show you which one, you can go out in the evenings and talk to him.
