Maja LaRee Lance-Partida passed away peacefully in the arms of her mother, surrounded by her maternal grandparents. Maja was born at 6:10 p.m. on May 9, 2020 and returned to the arms of our Heavenly Father on August 11, 2020 @ 9:45 p.m.
Maja gave us a lifetime of love and memories during her short time on earth. Her cries, coos, hiccups, eyes, hair, and above all - her smiles, will always be remembered. Maja’s smiles could light up any room, her eyes would sparkle when she smiled and you could see her joy shining through. Maja’s eyes would also sparkle with love and adoration whenever she interacted with her mother.
Maja has taught us all to focus on the bigger picture and we’re all grateful for the impact she has had in our lives. We’re so thankful for the time we had with Maja, we only wish we had so much more. Although we’re saddened and heartbroken to miss out on so many milestones and lifetime events - we’re comforted to know families are eternal. Until we meet again sweet Maja Monkey - we love you. Say hi to Great Opa, give him a big ol’ bear hug for us.
We’d like to thank all the doctors, nurses, emergency personnel, and advocates at PeaceHealth Southwest Hospital and Doernbecher Children’s Hospital (thank you Sultan) for all their care and concern for Maja during her stay in the ER & PICU and for taking care of our family. We would also like to thank Vancouver Funeral Chapel in Vancouver, WA (Pam) and Larkin Mortuary in Riverton, UT (Nick) for the loving personalized care provided for Maja and our family.
