Margene Richins Tucker

On November 6, 2022. our beautiful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Margene Richins Tucker was called back home to a loving Father in Heaven.

Margene was born on June 18th, 1936 in Ogden, Utah to Afton Edgar Richins and Leah Francis Richins. She is survived by her five siblings, Shirlene Burt, Brent Richins, Connie Foulger, Gayle Burgoyne, and Jann Ludlow.

Margene married her eternal companion Robert H. Tucker on April 26, 1965. On April 1, 1977 they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Provo Temple. They spent 57 wonderful years together. Margene is survived by her beloved husband and their children, Rick A. Tucker, (Deborah Mae), Michael Dalebout, (Joanne), David Alan Tucker, Melissa Lynne Stott, (Michael Gerald), and 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Margene accomplished many things in her long and happy life. She and her husband served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Kirtland, Ohio. For many years they served together in the baptistry at the Jordan River Temple. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother to the children she loved. Mom tirelessly worked to make sure all of her children were well cared for spiritually, emotionally and physically. She reflected the best principles of the gospel by being a true and sincere friend to all. She genuinely loved people, and they loved her. Her dedication to the Lord and her belief in eternal families gave her great comfort a peace throughout her life.

The Funeral will be held November 12, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,11196 south Wasatch Blvd, Sandy Utah 84092. With the Viewing from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Service will be held directly following. Interment will occur at the Henefer cemetery at a later date.
