Our loving mother and abuelita has joined her beloved husband, Felix Garcia in heavenly paradise. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 13th, 2022.

She was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on September 8th, 1935 to Gregorio Sandoval and Clemencia Palafox. She was a strong-willed, thoughtful
and caring woman who always made others happiness a priority. She enjoyed needlepoint and feeding her delicious food to all her family and friends who visited her. She enjoyed keeping up with the lives of her children and grandchildren with frequent phone calls.

She is survived by her children. Leonor (Jesus) Ruvalcaba, Norberta (Rodolfo) Mercado, Petra Garcia, Jose Garcia, and Angelica (Anthony) Gonzales. 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. 2 sisters, many nieces and nephews as well as other family and loved ones.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, her daughter Lidia Velasco, 4 sisters and 1 brother.

Pallbearers are Jose Garcia, Anthony Gonzales, Armando Mercado, Alejandro Mercado, Steven Gonzales, Daniel Rosales, Estaban Mercado Rudy Mercado Jr, Jesus Ruvalcaba and Rodolfo Mercado.

The viewing will be Sunday, September 25th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with recitation of the Most Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East Dimple Dell Rd (10600 S.) Sandy, UT. 84092. There will be a second viewing and family service on Monday September 26th from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. also at Larkin Sunset Gardens with a Funeral Mass to follow at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic. Church 624 Lennox Street Midvale, Utah 84047 at 11:00 a.m.
