Marilyn “Jean” Jeppson (79) passed peacefully into the next life on March 29, 2021. Jean was born on December 19, 1941 in Ephraim, Utah to Lee and Lenore Anderson. She grew up in Ephraim and went to Manti High School. Jean’s best friend growing up and to her last day on earth was her sister Carolyn. The two of them had wonderful memories of growing up in a small town and laughed together often as they shared those memories with others.

Jean moved to the Salt Lake area in 1957 and had 3 children by the time she was 20 with her first husband Bert Cloward. Being such a young mother was not easy. Despite the challenges, she raised her children to work hard and be their best. They always knew they were loved. Jean was so proud of her children and their accomplishments. Having never finished high school, she was particularly proud that all her children and every one of her grandchildren graduated from college. Jean had 2 special needs grandsons that she was devoted to. She cared for each of them often on her days off and whenever she could for many years. Family was everything to Jean, but friends were just as important. She had the biggest heart and would make friends everywhere she went. Her friendships knew no boundaries and lasted a lifetime.

Jean is survived by her devoted and loving husband Ron Jeppson. They were married on March 17, 1989 and had 32 wonderful years together. Ron was by her side thru a difficult year of illness and hospitalizations. He cared for her with love and devotion right to the end. Jean is also survived by her daughter Tori Bezzant (Ron), son Chad Cloward, sister Carolyn (Don) Hafen, 12 grandchildren, 6 stepchildren and dozens of additional grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her son Randy Cloward, daughter-in-law Shannon Cloward and grandson Kevin Cloward. What a reunion they must be having. Jean will be sorely missed by the many whose lives she touched.

Friends and family are invited to an Open House Celebration of Life for Jean from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at River Oaks Golf Course, 9300 Riverside Drive, Sandy, Utah 84070.
