She was the oldest of three daughters, Marilyn, Patricia and Jairene and one brother that died at birth, William Hal Van Horn.

Mom was always sweet, popular and loved everyone, even to her dying days she told people “I love you,” and wanted a kiss. She had many sorority sisters she remained friends with and belonged to a couple of bridge groups.

Adams who treated her like a queen for 43 years until his sudden passing in 2021. They had years together traveling, tennis, entertaining, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They both will be missed by many.

Your sweet mom always treated me like family for which I am grateful. She seemed to always have a big smile on her face and a kind word for whoever she was talking to. I loved her rhymes, they were very clever and showed her cute sense of humor. She will be missed.
