Marilyn Wahlberg Waite

1951 ~ 2022

Obituary Photo for Marilyn Wahlberg Waite < >

I was born on October 14, 1951 and died on February 14, 2022. I was adopted in August 1952 by Carl and Frances Wahlberg, the best parents one could hope for! I had a great childhood and graduated from Westminster College in 1974 with a B.S. in Nursing. I worked as a nurse for 34 years and touched many lives. I was married for 17 years to Terry Waite. That union produced my two greatest accomplishments…James Adam born in 1981 and Brian Christopher born in 1984. I am survived by my big brother Doug (my hero!) and his wife Basche’, my nephews Tyler (Rashelle) and Jody (Amy) and their children. And my best friend and confidant…Ann Johnson. I look forward to reuniting with my parents and my nephew Eric. I also look forward to seeing Dennis again.

To my sons...Adam and Brian…I wish that you will always be happy, healthy, safe, and loved…I’ll miss you. I wish to be cremated…Adam and Brian you know what to do with my ashes! I don’t want a funeral service…I want you to have a party! Listen to Stairway to Heaven, drink some rum! It’s O.K. to be sad…just don’t be sad for too long.
And in the end,
The love you take,
Is equal to the love you make.
Thank you-John and Paul
P.S. M.S. is a cruel BITCH!

A celebration of Marilyn’s life will take place on May 7th. Details to follow.

I am sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing. I know that she has struggled with MS for a number of years. She fought a good fight and will be blessed in eternity. She was always a sweet beautiful lady and a wonderful cousin. Please know that all is well and that you will see her again and will have an eternity together.
