This life is a journey where we encounter some low valleys and high mountains. Along our path, we meet others sharing our journey that bring us wisdom, strength, and guidance as we learn through our experiences. Marty was the type of individual that helped make our journey joyful!

Suzanne,

Our sincere condolences for your loss. Marty's photo perfectly captures his personality - confident, wry, and supportive He was always aware of his impact on the students he shepherded, and took that as a solemn obligation to encourage them. I loved the times spent with you and Marty as a home teacher. Yours is a family filled with love. Now Marty has completed his earthly mission and he will be missed by so many.

You too are a wonderful person and our thoughts will be with you, Kristi, and Tony and their families in the days to come as you adjust to the changed circumstances of your life. We are happy we got to know Marty and to enjoy his friendship.

I knew Marty and his family in the early 1970s when we were all in the Westchester First Ward in Los Angeles. Marty was a great guy. He’ll surely be missed.
