Mary Susan “Sue” Forgie Fisher Millard, 91 of Chubbuck Idaho passed away peacefully on the 12th of July 2023 at Quinn Meadows Care Facility in Chubbuck Idaho surrounded by loved ones.
Sue was born on October 15th, 1932 in Montvale, Virginia to Bonnie Bell Craft Forgie and William Raymond Forgie. She was married to Dale Ray Fisher who preceded her in death in 1996. Later she met and married the love of her life in 2007, Robert S. Millard who preceded her in death in 2017, Sue was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
Throughout her life Sue was known for her kindness and compassion. She was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years working in the Veterans Administration hospitals and enjoyed serving and helping others in their infirmities.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings throughout her life. She served a mission to Chile as well as a stake mission. She also served as an ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple. Sue had a strong testimony and commitment to the church, its doctrine and teachings.
She is survived by her children Mark and Avis; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and sisters Nancy, Iva and Ruby. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy, UT. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 28th at 11:00 AM at the River Park Ward, 932 West Greenoaks Drive, Murray, UT. Interment to follow services at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy.
