  • Our beloved Meiganne MacArthur McPhee passed away far too soon on February 23, 2021. Born September 22, 1981 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Lisa Calderwood Ortega and was immediately adopted by into her loving MacArthur family. She always cherished her relationships every member of her very large family.

Meiganne loved her ACVU family and was very proud to be an excellent and indispensable part of their team. She loved her co-workers and loved and cared for her patients and provided excellent patient care. She was thorough and sharp as a tack.

She met the love of her life, and soulmate, Mark McPhee, and they quickly became inseparable for all their days together. They were married July 7, 2013. They were the couple that everyone wanted to be, and also the couple that people wanted to be with.

Meiganne was always the life of the party and was sure to light up any room she walked in to when she started singing. She was the type of person that was loved by so many which makes her passing so difficult. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and interacted with her.

Survived by her loving husband, Mark, parents A. Creig MacArthur and Suzanne Holfert Shreeve, 7 siblings, 2 step-children and their spouses, 1 grandson, many nieces and nephews and of course her beloved furbabies.

So sorry I couldn't be there to pay my respects. A regular face that will definitely be missed. Although our relationship mostly consisted of chatting around a fire pit and drinking a beer, I am indeed grateful I got to joke around with her and I always saw their relationship as one to aspire to. Thank you for your light and sharing moments with me for a few years! <3

Dear dear Mark. The sadness I am feeling for you and the loss of Meiganne is indescribable. She was such a beautiful lady that EVERYONE loved. I will never forget the last time I saw you both at the club on 3rd west. You saw us first and said "there's aah, there's aah, there's there's that person!!!". When she turned around and saw me, she ran right over and gave me a great big hug!! The next hour we spent talking was so grand.. that's the kind of person Meiganne was. So happy and such a sociable person. She always made you feel so special. My love is with you Mark. I will always remember you both with love. God bless and comfort you.

I am so so saddened to hear of this. I have many wonderful memories of playing with Meiganne when we were children. We played calico critters, had sleepovers and played in her treehouse for hours on end. I’m grateful for your friendship Meiganne! You were a wonderful friend.

I am still in disbelief that Meiganne is gone. She was one of a kind! She was so kind, compassionate, patient, loving, and one hell of a friend. Her laughter was contagious and everyone loved to be around her. Her love for Mark and her family was admirable. She never hesitated to do the right thing and wasnt afraid to speak up when she felt something was not right. I will forever be reminded of her when I hear "The Love Shack" song, oranges (inside joke), and the Vegas Knights play. She had one hell of a voice and that girl could belt out some tunes! Karaoke was always a great time with Meiganne and Mark around. She will be forever missed! Forever in our hearts! Sincere condolences to Mark and her family. Sending love, hugs, and prayers.

Meiganne was such a great help on ACVU. I could go to her with any questions I had about iCentra and she was always happy to help even asking her names of doctors because I work night shifts and if she didn't know, she would find out. I'm so sorry. It seems like a nightmare that we are in that we could just wake up and things would be different then they are. She was so young but she is not suffering anymore from this terrible disease. I never met you Mark but I know Meiganne loved you very much. She talked about you a lot. She will be greatly missed.
