I just learned of Merrill’s passing. We were companions in the Irish Mission. I have recently been reconnecting with some from that mission when I came across his obituary. My condolences to his family.

    Dear Randall, Voneene and Janet,
I’m so sorry for your loss of another sibling. I’m thankful for the memories we have of growing up in Richfield. Merrill was always the quiet reserved and handsome guy but he also had a once in a while quirky humor too! He was always kind to everyone no matter their circumstances. Prayers for peace and comfort go out to all of you. Love, Micala

Merrill and Stephen were classmates their school lives through high school. However, it was not until recently that we had a chance to get to know him better and recognize what a truly special person he was. So glad that chance came along! His positive attitude and willingness to accept life's challenges were an example for us all. Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to family and friends. Can't wait until we see you again!!!

We are sad to learn of Merrill's passing. We have very fond memories of our time together in the Crescent 16th Ward. Merrill was secretary when I was the Elders Quorum President in the early 1980's. He was very dedicated and reliable in his calling. His faith and testimony were solid. We maintained a connection on Facebook where we both fiercely took jabs at the Democrats and the left wingers. As the Bishop it was fun to see all of the children grow up. One of our deepest heartaches was the passing of Linda. We have been gone from the 16th ward for 26 years now but send our deepest love to all the Jensen children and grandchildren. It would be very nice to connect with some of you. Our love and best wishes.
