Our sweet and loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather Michael (Mike) George Anderson sadly passed away on August 8, 2021. He was surrounded by his loving family when he left this earth to join his parents, brothers, and sisters in heaven. He was born on December 27, 1947 to his parents Myles and Lola Anderson. His brothers were Bob, Dale, Tom, and Jim. His sisters were Myleen, Pat, and Kathy.

Mike was a heavy equipment operator for 35 years and in his younger days he was a life guard and a disc jockey at a local radio station. He enjoyed playing on his drums, listening to rock n’ roll and jazz music, and spending time with his family. His family adored him and loved his great sense of humor. He was quiet and reserved, and anyone who was lucky enough to get to know him got to see that fun side of him. Up to his last day, his grandchildren had a way of cheering him up and making him smile. Mike served his country bravely in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Mike married his sweetheart Sharon on May 13, 1974. Together they had two sons and two daughters. His sons are Clint (Maggie) Anderson, and Sean Anderson. His daughters are Amanda (Jared) Cobb, and Ashley (David) Meadows. His grandchildren are Caitlin, Myles, Elisha, Eylas, Nash, Aiden, Sophia, Makynzie, Mylan, and Nolan. He has two great grandchildren, Athena and Catalina. Mike is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and his two great grandchildren. We will greatly miss him, and he will be in our hearts forever. We love you always!

A viewing will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 1:00 through 2:45 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, UT 84092). A funeral service will follow at 3 PM.
