Michael George Ross

1961 ~ 2023

Obituary Photo for Michael George Ross < >

On June 2nd, 2023, Mike passed away due to a tragic accident on his e-bike. Mike was living in Park City, Utah at the time. He chose Utah so he could be close to family and friends and enjoy the great skiing and beautiful outdoors. Mike had an extremely outgoing and charming personality which resulted in a successful career in sales and most recently had become a licensed Financial Advisor. Physical fitness was important to Mike, and he started every day working out and shooting hoops at his local gym or riding his bike. While we are devastated by his loss, we are comforted by that fact that he was doing what he loved on a beautiful, peaceful morning, with the sun shining down upon him. Mike was preceded in death by his parents George and Patricia Ross, his beloved sister Deborah Ross (Bugosh) and beloved nephew Nicholas Straatsma. He is survived by his brothers Patrick Ross and Woodie Ross (Jo), sister Michele Ross (Brad), nephews Sean Straatsma (Dawn), Brian Devlin (Andrea), Nicholas Bugosh, and nieces Katie Michele Devlin and Alexandra Holmes (Blake), and several great nieces and nephews
whom he adored. We will miss his warm presence and infectious smile.

Even though I have not seen Mike for years, I have nothing but amazing memories of spending time with him. He was always a happy fun outgoing guy. Not to mention pretty darn handsome. He was the life of the party and always made everyone belly laugh! We have no way of knowing when it’s our time, but I can say we lost him way too soon. My heart and love goes to his family which truly also feels like my family!
With much love and condolences,

Ross was my childhood best friend in CO, where we loved B’ball! We always stayed in touch during HS and college, and somehow always found each other later in life. Our paths reconnected in Dallas and then California, where he couldn’t give up on that basketball dream. God had always brought us together in the most unbelievable ways. His mother Pat rocked and I always enjoyed Debbie, Michelle, and Patrick! I was always hopeful that he’d be showing up on my front door as iI missed him like a brother and wanted him in my families life🙏🏽😢

RIP Michael aka Ross!

The world has lost a really cool guy.

My condolence to Pat, Michele , Woodie and Mike's entire family. I knew Mike for many years, due to the fact that his brother Pat and I were in business together. I grew to like Mike and enjoyed being around him and his high energy. It was a sad day for me when I heard that he passed away. RIP Mike!

Michael would have been 63 a couple of days ago. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of him. He was truly one of a kind. My sincerest condolences to anyone that had the pleasure of knowing him or the luxury of calling him a friend.

I will never forget you brother. I hope the universe allows us to meet again some day.
