Michealle Bobeng, 80, of Salt Lake County, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2025, surrounded by family.

She was born on April 14, 1944, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, to Milton and Alicia. Michealle was the fourth born of five children—Carolyne, Eugene, Nannette, and John. When she was two years old, her family purchased a 10-acre farm in Fontana, California, which they owned for 37 years. There, they raised cows, steer, sheep, goats, chickens, pigs, and a horse, while also growing their own vegetables.

Michealle was active in her community from a young age. She participated in city parades, took part in Lions Club and Fontana Women’s Club events, and even had her picture featured in the local newspaper after performing in a puppet show. During her senior year of high school, she was deeply involved in a youth group called the Starlighters. As president, she led the group to win the George Putnam Youth Award for being the top fundraising youth organization in California.

After college, Michealle moved to Los Angeles and later attended beauty school. She eventually married in the Los Angeles Temple and later settled in Sandy, Utah, where she lived for 47 years.

Michealle was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Alicia; her siblings, Eugene and Nannette; and her son, Steven. She is survived by her siblings, Carolyne and John; her children, William, Shellie, and Jennifer; her grandchildren, Tristan and Sophia; and her great-granddaughter, Nyla.

Michealle was known for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering dedication to her family. She had a gift for making those around her feel loved and valued, always offering a listening ear, a kind word, or a helping hand. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love she shared and the lives she touched.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., in Sandy, followed by a service at 2:00 p.m.
