Jacqueline V. Allman passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in Bountiful, Utah. Jackie was one of a kind. She was one of the most loving, caring people to all living things. Jackie spent many years working with the homeless and anyone else in need. She was also a lover of animals, especially her dogs. She treated them like little men in furry coats. Jackie loved the outdoors, whether it be the mountains or the ocean. She could spend all day outside. She loved to read. One of her favorite authors was Stephen King and her favorite holiday was Halloween. She will be missed by so many, not only her family, but to all she treated like family. We love you mom. We promise to remember that the little things do matter, even if it's a sticky note saying "I love you."
Jackie is survived by her husband, Alan Allman, her children, Jack Christopher (Adrienne) Boyle, Stevan Matthew Gerber, Brandon Ricky (MaryAnn) Gerber, and six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Emilie Veale, and brother, James Veale.
Services will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, the evening prior, at the same location. Please send flowers to Larkin Mortuary. An interment will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
