Dean Cozza Allen

1979 ~ 2019

Dean Cozza Allen, wonderful husband, father, brother, and son returned to heaven on March 31, 2019. He is survived by his wife Melanie, son Parker, daughter Rylee, mother Traci, father Roger, sister Kari, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Dean was a loving father who would do anything for his children. He had a love for RC cars and shared his passion for RC with his son. They spent many an hour racing up and down the street in front of his home. The two shared a love of monster trucks and went together to every Monster Jam that came to town. Dean was a great dance partner, super hero sidekick, and tea party participant for his daughter. The two loved to play dress up, jump on the trampoline, and snuggle on the couch and watch cartoons.

Dean or Dino, as his friends and family would call him, was rather accomplished at a great many things. He was an avid drone enthusiast who was often sought after for his experience and guidance. He was a DJ for live events, a graphic designer, a general mechanic, tech support for his friends and family, and much more. He enjoyed camping, fishing and riding his side by side in the woods with his family. He spread joy in everything he accomplished and did.

While Dean may be gone, he is felt in every giggle and smile in his children and the many other lives he has touched. We are heartbroken at the profound loss that Dean leaves behind, but we will never forget how blessed our lives are because Dean was a part of them.

A small informal service will be held in Dean's honor at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 3676 W. 4700S. West Valley City on Saturday April 6th, 2019 from 2:00 ‚ 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers and monetary gifts, donations can be made to Primary Children's Hospital in Dean's name.
