Theodore \"Ted\" Roberts Bell

1941 ~ 2017

Theodore "Ted" Roberts Bell passed away December 8, 2017 in Salt Lake City. He was born February 12, 1941, the son of Alfred Mervill and Jane Eva Bell. He married Sue Rigsby in the Logan Utah Temple on December 18, 1964.

Ted was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved sharing the great blessings that the gospel brought to his life. Through sharing his testimony with Rod and Zenny Miller, Ted was instrumental in the baptizing of over one hundred Filipino people. He was a compassionate, loving person with a strong work ethic which he taught to his kids. His motto was "If you work enthusiastic, you'll be enthusiastic." He helped his boys create "The Little Red Wagon Shoe Shining Business" which they took around their neighborhood to earn money. He used his entrepreneurial skills to start his own business "Tedan Medical."

Ted graduated from Ogden High School, Class of 1959. He played football for Weber State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Commercial Art and Advertising Design. After graduation, Ted served in the Utah National Guard. He enjoyed painting, biking, teaching art and pottery, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Ted is survived by his wife, Sue Rigsby Bell; sons Timothy Roberts (Jennifer) Bell, Troy Rigsby (Marianne) Bell and Thad Rees (Elizabeth) Bell; and 10 Ω grandchildren, three of which are serving LDS Missions in Italy, France and Argentina. He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant sons, Todd Rigsby Bell and Tyler Ryan Bell.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Logan City Cemetery.
