William B. (Bud) Nowlin, a true gentleman and man for all seasons, passed away at home in the loving care of his daughter in Salt Lake City on November 22, 2013, at the age of 97. Bud was born on March 2, 1916 to Marie and William S. Nowlin in Spokane, WA. His childhood was spent in Greenacres and later Spokane, Washington. Best friends throughout their lives together, Bud and Lois especially enjoyed the years they spent living in Palm Springs, Menlo Park, and later at Lake Tahoe after retiring. They also enjoyed the years they spent helping to raise their grandson Peter in Salt Lake City. Bud was a wonderfully gentle, considerate, generous, and supportive husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Bud had a successful career working in the marketing and production of veterinary biologicals in the United States and Canada. His coworkers and contacts saw him as the epitome of integrity and professionalism, a legend in his industry. His generous help, kindness, intelligence, and fine sense of humor were appreciated by all who knew him.
