Patience Boehme died on 15 February 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah after a heroic battle against Ewings Sarcoma (cancer). She was born to Milton Dennis Bush and Mary Ione Eldredge in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was married to Cory James Boehme on 6 November 2010 in the Logan Temple. They are the parents of a daughter, Brooklyn Jeneane Boehme.
Mama, wife, sister, cousin, niece, Sister Bush, Patience, Pay, Patie, Coleslaw and friend were just some of the names that she was known by.
Patience was an amazing person. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a rescuer.
She graduated from Granite High School in 2004 and from Snow College in 2007.
Patience was a source of inspiration and love to all those she came in contact with. She served a LDS mission in Atlanta, Georgia and even returned afterwards to serve as Young Women President to bless the lives of many young women and families there. To many she was, and will continue to be, a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, mentor, and hero. One of her favorite times of life was her experiences at Oakcrest where she influenced many for good and made lifelong friends and lasting memories.
Patience returned to her loving Savior on Sunday, 15 February 2015. She will be excited to reunite and visit with her mother, Mary Ione Eldredge Bush and countless other family and friends.
Patience is greatly loved and will be missed and remembered by her husband Cory James Boehme and their daughter Brooklyn Jeneane Boehme.
She was the ninth child of Milton Dennis Bush and Mary Ione Eldredge. Her siblings include: Dennis E. Bush, (Cherie), Brooke I. Palmer, (Thad), Joseph M. Bush (Lorraine), Julie Bush, (Colin Coker), Lawrence N. Bush, (Trisha), Lauralee Matua, (Darius), Samuel E. Bush, and Harold B.E. Bush, (Tristian). She was the favorite aunt to 22 nieces and nephews. She will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
"…some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend."
Funeral services for Patience will be held on Friday, 20 February, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake Grant Stake Center located at 3151 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, UT. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening, 19 February, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ridgedale LDS Ward located at 3400 South and 1000 East, Salt Lake City, UT. For those traveling from out of town there will be a viewing Friday morning from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to the services. Interment will be on Saturday, 21 February 2015at the Dingle, Idaho Cemetery at12:00 Noon. For additional services and information refer to www.larkinmortuary.com.
