Nancy B. Boss

1944 ~ 2024

Bound for a “joyous reunion in heaven” and surrounded by those who dearly love her, Nancy B. Boss passed from this earth on June 10, 2024, at the age of 79. She was born December 3, 1944, in Murray, Utah to Louis A. Kelsch and Eleanor B. Kelsch.

Nancy married her sweetheart, Nate Boss in July of 1961. She was sassy and outspoken, which often led to pranks like Nate picking her up and putting her in a sink full of dishes or dropping a bag of horse manure on her doorstep in a paper sack with her name on it. After 9 years of marriage, Tani came into the family, and for over 40 years they walked this life together and built “a love until the end of time”.

Nancy stood in the conviction of her faith and her love for Jesus Christ and was very proud of her family. That commitment came through in everything she did from raising 15 children of her own, helping raise another 17 of her “easiest birth” children, giving constantly to others in need, or working full-time at Fashion Cabinets order desk to help support the family. If ever she heard of someone sick or in need, she would send what became affectionately known as a “Grandma Nancy blanket.”

Any home Nancy lived in was adorned with beautiful gardens. She had a green thumb; plants and flowers just wanted to grow for her. She loved a diverse range of music from Neil Diamond to Mario Lanza, Donna Summers and Jim Nabors. She could often be seen doing the Jitter Bug to one of her many vinyl records. She amazed us all with her energy and determination!

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, numerous brothers and sisters, friends, her husband Arnold Nathan Boss Jr., and her two sons, Lynn and Ephraim.

Survived by her loving sister-wife and dear friend Tani Boss, 30 children, 150 grandchildren and 75 great-grandchildren.

I just read the obituary of our dear Elect Lady , Nancy, and watched the video and it moved me to tears of joy, sadness, deep love and hope! I'm so very proud of her, you and Nate for creating a beautiful, large forever family. Surely the heavens, God, Jesus, Angels, Mom Nor, Dad, Gregg, babies that have stepped across the veil before her, all the relatives brothers and sisters in that side of the veil and of course Nate are having a glorious reunion and congratulating Nancy for a life well lived and honored by all. The words of honor I have for you and all your family are "what a glorious legacy of lives well lived and extremely difficult challenges overcome" I'm sure God is saying "Well done my child enter into the glory and realm of my peace to our beautiful Elect sister. I love all of you so deeply for the spirits you are and for the privilege of being your sister and Aunt to the "whole brood"!
