Natania Ann Gamble

Natania Ann Gamble, 39, was born on January 30, 1987, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Gary Sr. and Phyllis Gamble. She passed away on July 24, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, love, and countless people whose lives she touched.

Natania was the sixth of eight siblings and held a special place in the family, she brought a new energy and personality to a family that had already grown in so many ways.
She spent her early childhood in various communities throughout the Salt Lake Valley before moving to Phoenix for a time. She later moved to Midvale, where she attended elementary school, and then to Sandy during her preteen years, where she spent much of her adolescence. She also spent time on the Navajo Reservation, creating lasting memories and experiences that helped shape the person she became.
Natania was incredibly funny, smart, loving, understanding, outgoing, and friendly. She had a natural ability to connect with people, and making friends seemed to come effortlessly to her. Her personality, confidence, and easygoing nature drew people in. She also had a playful and mischievous side that stayed with her throughout her life. She loved to joke around, stir things up just enough to make everyone laugh or shake their head, and always seemed to have something silly or crazy to say. Her sense of humor was a part of what made her so memorable, and there was rarely a dull moment when Natania was around.
Natania was also incredibly beautiful, inside and out. She took pride in her appearance and had a natural sense of beauty and style. She loved makeup and hair. She knew how to put herself together and always had her own way of carrying herself. Her beauty was part of her personality, just like her humor, confidence, and playful spirit, and it was something people noticed about her. Natania loved music of every genre and was almost always listening to it. She loved dancing and had an incredible talent for doing hair. She loved keeping up with the latest trends and always had her own sense of style.

Long before she became a mother, Natania was the “cool aunt” to the younger members of the family. Her room became a place where everyone congregated, with music playing in the background while stories, laughter, and memories were made. The younger ones naturally gravitated toward her. She was fun, current, and always had something entertaining to say.
But Natania was more than just the fun aunt. She was also someone people could turn to when they needed comfort. Even when someone was hurting, she seemed to know what to say. She was understanding and always willing to listen. She had a way of making people feel seen and understood, and that is something those who loved her will carry with them.
But the role Natania cherished most was being a mother to her two daughters, Nyla and Giselle. Her girls were her world, and the love she carried for them never left her heart. Becoming their mother was one of the most important parts of Natania's life, and she remained deeply proud of the two beautiful young women they became. Natania loved her girls fiercely. She took great pride in them and cared deeply about how they were doing and what their futures would hold. She loved making sure they were well groomed and cared for, and she never stopped thinking about them. No matter how life changed or how much time passed, the love she had for Nyla and Giselle remained a constant part of who she was. She dreamed about their future and wanted the very best for them. Her daughters held a place in her heart that no one else could fill. To Natania, they would always be her babies, and being their mother would always be one of the greatest loves of her life.
Natania was also someone who dreamed, planned, and looked ahead. She was always encouraging others to keep moving forward and thinking about what was next in life. Her dreams, her laughter, her music, her style, and most importantly, her love for her family will remain a part of the memories she leaves behind.

Natania is survived by her beloved daughters, Nyla and Giselle Avila Gamble; her parents, Gary Sr. and Phyllis Gamble; and her seven siblings, David Slivers, Pam Gibson-Slivers (Larry), Efrem Slivers, Adena Slivers (Tracy), Enos Slivers (Jennifer), Gary Jr. Gamble (Charmayne), and Alexa Gamble (Mikey); along with many beloved nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Pat and Sally Natoni; her paternal grandfather, Sam Gamble; and her nephew, Tyler Perry and several cherished aunts and uncles who were dear to her throughout her life.

Natania will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, her sense of humor, her playful and mischievous personality, her love of music and beauty, her incredible talent with hair, and her ability to make the people around her laugh. She will be remembered as the cool aunt, the daughter, sister, friend, and most importantly, the mother who loved her two girls with all her heart.
Her life may have been far too short, but the laughter she shared, the memories she created, and the love she gave will remain with her family and all who knew her forever. For Nyla and Giselle, her love will always be a part of them, carried forward in the memories they share and the lives they continue to live.

A Celebration of Life for Natania will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.
