Kathlene Beverley, 70, passed away quietly on October 22, 2014 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah, of a stroke. She had battled ovarian cancer for four years and never gave in. She was born August 29, 1944, the beloved daughter of George Beverley and Rhea Hunsaker Beverley. Kathy arrived with two perfectly placed dimples and captured all our hearts, a special spirit, our sister, niece, aunt, and friend.

Kathy spent her life as an executive secretary to the Seventies and in the humanitarian department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.Brother Hartman Rector, Jr. was a special friend. Kathy served with strength: Primary President, Singles Relief Society President, Stake Missionary, YW Leader to the Laotian Branch, Relief Society secretary, life-long genealogist, and temple ordinance worker. She inspired others to work on their own family history. She crocheted the edges of baby things for her ward. She cherished her friends. Bank tellers, pharmacists, doctors and nurses knew her by name. She fulfilled her obligations to her high standards and brought others up to her level. All of her nieces and nephews had a standing invitation at her house and in her life.
