Florina Maria "Rini" Hubert Hut passed away peacefully at 10:35 am on November 8, 2018, at her home in South Jordan, Utah. Rini was born to Engelbertus Cornelis Visser and Johanna Maria Lodder Visser on June 12, 1928 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Rini survived the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands in WWII, she survived cancer and various other physical maladies during her life, and she survived gracefully as life's clock chimed across 90 years. Rini was a loving wife, a wise mother and a loyal friend. She enjoyed music and ice skating, and she loved to dance. When her beloved Willie put his hand through the veil and invited her to dance with him once again, she would not resist; she joyfully took his hand … and they danced!
Rini is survived by her children: Joyce A. Birch (Mark), David W. Hubert (Leslie), Michael L. Hubert (Lori), and Bert L. Hubert (Paula); 22 grandchildren and 18 Ω great grandchildren.
Rini's funeral service will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. There will be a viewing Sunday, November 11 from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior the service both at the mortuary.
