Nicholas (Nick) Vasyl Taylor, age 19, passed away on November 7, 2023, at home in Holladay, Utah. He was born on January 1, 2004, in the Mikolayivka village in the Odessa Region of Ukraine. He and his three siblings were adopted in 2013 and moved to Riverton, Utah, where they gained six more siblings in the Taylor family. In December 2019, Nick moved with his parents and four siblings to Eugene, Oregon. He graduated from Winston Churchill High School in 2022, then he moved back to Utah to be with two of his older siblings in April of that year.

Nick loved to play basketball, whether it was church ball or with friends or siblings. He played on a basketball team for a year in middle school. He also loved origami, video games, soccer, math, skateboarding, TV, sleeping, hanging out with friends and siblings, and entertaining his niece and nephew. He was a hard worker and always willing to help others, sticking to a task until it was done.

Most of all, Nick loved to laugh and have fun. He will be remembered for his smile, happy demeanor, fearlessness in trying new things, ability to entertain young children, forgiving nature, generosity, and love of being Ukrainian.

Nick is survived by his parents, Michael Taylor and Ruth Ann (Alan) Walker; siblings Jennie (Sam) James, Aaron (Katrin) Taylor, Nathan (Amber) Taylor, Emily Taylor, Vova Taylor, Benjamin Taylor, Valentyna Taylor, Max Taylor, Sierra Taylor; niece and nephew, Rose and Christopher; and his good friend, Averie Dean.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Meadows Ward located 12459 South Dansie Way in Riverton Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services beginning at 9AM.
