Nicci, was the most loving, and beautiful soul I have ever had the honor to meet. Her love and pride for her boys was exemplified in every action and word she shared. I am so sorry for the enormity of this loss for all of you, and I hope that the love she shared will comfort you all.

In Loving Memory of Nicolette “Nicci” Elders
November 26, 1960 – November 4, 2026
Nicolette “Nicci” Elders was born on November 26, 1960, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Joseph Ted Elders Jr. and Lois Hale.
Born on a day that occasionally falls on Thanksgiving, it seems fitting for someone whose heart was filled with so much gratitude, generosity, and love. Nicci was truly a one-of-a-kind soul. She had a way of lighting up a room and making everyone feel welcome, even if they had just met. Words could never fully express the love she carried in her heart or the impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
There aren’t enough words to describe the woman Nicci was. She was the most selfless, loving, and caring mother, with a heart of gold. She was also tough as nails and stubborn as could be! When Nicci set her mind to something, she fought for it and never gave up until she achieved what she wanted. When she took her six boys in, she dedicated her life to making sure they had the best life possible, and she did exactly that. She worked harder than anyone, often sacrificing her own wants and needs just to make sure her boys had everything they needed and more.
She made every birthday and holiday magical. She would drive from store to store searching for just the right birthday gift, always making sure the other boys had a little something too so no one ever felt left out. Their home was always open to friends, with pizza, soda, candy, and plenty of memories to last a lifetime. It was never about how much she had, but how much she could give. Nicci had an extraordinary gift for making everyone around her feel loved, welcomed, and cared for.
Her six sons were her world, and she had a special way of making each one feel like her favorite. From comforting them through their darkest moments, being there through hospital stays, waking up at 4 a.m. for soccer practices, to simply sharing a morning cup of coffee, she showed her love in countless ways. She always saw the good in her boys, even when they couldn’t see it themselves. She believed in them, encouraged them, and gave them the love and strength to become the men they are today. They will forever be her shining light, and her love will continue to burn brightly through each of them.
Nicci also loved the beauty of life. She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, music, and hosting family gatherings where everyone could come together and make memories. Being a grandmother brought her another special kind of happiness. She cherished every soccer game, dance recital, photograph, and conversation. She never missed an opportunity to show up for her grandchildren, no matter the distance or circumstances. Being part of their lives meant everything to her.
To her sisters, she was a beloved little sister who cherished their bond. She loved sharing stories of their younger years, the laughter, adventures, and even the occasional trouble they found themselves in. Above all, she was grateful for the gift of family and the love they shared.
Nicci is survived by her three sisters, Stephanee Mower (Doug), Kari Wright (Craig), and Angela Elders; her six sons, Casey Harrison (Tess Hartwell), Coty Harrison (Amy), Jamie Elders, Harley Elders, Trever Elders, and Nash Elders; and her beloved grandchildren, Zeppelin Harrison, Maeya Harrison, Micah Harrison, and Thea Elders.
Nicci leaves behind a family who will forever be grateful for the life they shared with her. Her impact reaches far beyond her family. She touched countless lives, and nearly everyone who crossed her path walked away feeling loved. She built a foundation of strength, kindness, and unconditional love that will continue through everyone she raised, supported, and cared for. Her sacrifices, both big and small, will never be forgotten.
To our sweet Nicci, thank you for giving us the best life you possibly could, for always showing up, for believing in us, and for loving us without limits. We could never repay you for everything you sacrificed, but we promise to carry your love, strength, and kindness with us every day. The memories you made will live in our hearts forever.
This earth has lost a beautiful, one-of-a-kind soul, but the love she gave will never be lost.
Gone but never forgotten. Forever loved. Forever our shining light.
Until we meet again, sweet Nicci.
A private family viewing will be held on November 14th, 2026 at Larkin Mortuary. A Celebration of Life will held for friends and family at a later date.
